Martin Giera, Ph.D., studied pharmacy in Heidelberg and Munich. Martin was a visiting scientist at Harvard Medical School and the Scripps Research Institute. Martin is head of the metabolomics group at the Leiden University Medical Center. He is involved in several multi-national consortia, member of several editorial boards and chairman of the interdisciplinary committee at FWO. Martin has a keen interest in metabolomics technology, drug development and biochemistry. He has published more than 150 scientific publications and books.
